Pinterest launches ‘Performance+ creative’ to change product images into lifestyle visuals

Pinterest is rolling out a new generative AI feature called ‘Performance+ creative’ as part of its Performance+ suite. Performance+ suite is a collection of AI and automation tools designed to make “performance advertising campaigns smarter, more efficient, and more powerful,” Pinterest wrote.

‘Performance+ creative’ is a generative AI tool. The feature will enable advertisers to transform “white, blank or flat color backgrounds can be transformed into lifestyle imagery.” The platform says that the tool will help advertisers create more engaging and appealing product images that will “enrich Product Pins” and “deepen engagement.”

According to the platform, this tool is designed to help advertisers improve their results by making it easier to reach the right audience, manage how much money they spend, and set their bids for ads. It is also designed to enable advertisers to create quick ads.

Pinterest Performance+ bidding

Pinterest now offers a new bidding option called Performance+ bidding for ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) to qualified advertisers. Pinterest says Performance+ bidding is designed to optimize ads for maximum value which previously focused on getting clicks or conversions.
