  • Advertisers can disable the feature by navigating through Meta’s tools.

Meta has added “automatic adjustments” to many ad accounts, per Search Engine Land. This feature allows its system to make significant changes to ad campaigns without advertisers’ approval.

An X user, Rok Hladnik, said these automatic adjustments can pause or activate campaigns, adjust budgets, consolidate ad accounts, and more. These adjustments happen without notifying advertisers first. Hladnik advised users to check their accounts if they haven’t seen the notification in Account Overview.

How to turn off automatic adjustments

Advertisers can turn off the feature by following these steps:

  1. Go to “All tools.”
  2. Select “Automated rules.”
  3. Click “See automatic adjustments.”
  4. Access the “Manage automatic adjustments” page.
  5. Toggle the feature off.
